Invacare Perfecto2 V Stationary Oxygen Concentrator Overview:

The Invacare Perfecto2V Stationary Oxygen Concentrator is a top-of-the-line Stationary Oxygen Concentrator that is known for its quiet performance, slim and modern design, making it a great choice for those who need oxygen therapy at home and at nighttime. It incorporates the many features of the leading oxygen concentrators in the market thus making it a most wanted Stationary Oxygen Concentrator for home and healthcare facilities settings.

Flexible Design
The Invacare Perfecto2V Home Oxygen Concentrator is the smallest, most lightweight 5 Liter Stationary Oxygen Concentrator manufactured by Invacare. It measures a dimension of only 23"x13"x12", and weighs only 40 pounds.

The Invacare Perfecto2V Stationary Oxygen Concentrator features a streamlined and compact design with a refined exterior. It also comes with spinning wheels and a top handle for easy transport from one location to the other. The slim design of this oxygen, along with the easy maneuverability makes it possible to move this device around even in areas that have tight or small spaces with ease. So, whether the patient is in his or her room or in the living room the Invacare Perfecto2 V Stationary Oxygen Concentrator is very easy to move around from room to room. Moreover, its neutral color also makes it easier for the oxygen concentrator to blend into any types of home environment.

Quiet Operation
One of the most important features of the Invacare Perfecto2V Stationary Oxygen Concentrator , is its quiet operation. The Invacare Perfecto2Vonly emits 39 decibels of sound, which is equivalent to the sound of a refrigerator. Because of its quiet operation, this particular oxygen concentrator is perfect for nighttime use as it does not cause any distractions to the patient.

The low decibel of sound produced by this oxygen concentrator also makes it a better option for pediatric patients. Pediatric patients are easily distracted and get apprehensive when using a noisy medical equipment. The less noise it makes, the more pediatric patients feel comfortable about using the machine.

Better Oxygen Concentration and Quality

The purpose of the Invacare Perfecto2V Stationary Oxygen Concentrator is that it removes nitrogen from ambient air thus the air becomes a compressed concentration of oxygen. First, ambient air is filtered then enters the machine where it is directed to the nitrogen-absorbing sieve beds. The concentrated oxygen is then sent to the reservoir where it is kept until it is delivered to the patient.

The Invacare Perfecto2V Concentrator can deliver an oxygen delivery flow range of 0.5 to 5 liters per minute via a 5 PSI outlet pressure. Similar with other oxygen concentrators, the Perfecto2 V Oxygen Concentrator has the ability to provide oxygen concentration range between 87% and 95.6% on all flow settings. The slightly more concentrated - therefore purer - oxygen quality is brought about by the several filters that are used for this oxygen concentrator.

The two types of air filters used by the Perfecto2 V Oxygen Concentrator include a gross particle filter, a HEPA filter, and a compressor inlet filter. These three types of filters work differently in maintaining the quality of oxygen produced by the machine. The gross particle filters keep the dust, pet hair as well as all types of contaminants in the air away from the oxygen unit. It basically keeps the drawn air clean so that the delivered oxygen is of the highest quality and concentration.

The HEPA filter is another type of filter used in the Perfecto2V Oxygen Concentrator . While the gross particle filter strains out large particles and contaminants, the HEPA filter is finer; thus it has the ability to filter out virus, bacteria, fungi, and other pathogens that may have a huge impact on the quality of air delivered.

The compressor inlet filter, on the other hand, protects the compressor or the machine that draws air from the outside from dust and dirt. Without it, the system that collects air from the environment can still suck air-borne particles and dirt that can eventually deteriorate the performance of the oxygen concentrator and also increase the energy consumption of the machine.

Intuitive Safety Warning

The Invacare Perfecto2V Stationary Oxygen Concentrator comes with an intuitive safety alarm. It comes with self-diagnostic electronics to reduce downtime due to troubleshooting of the device. Moreover, it also comes with a safety alarm.

The safety alarm warnings indicate different problems such as low flow rate, battery power loss, low compressor pressure, and problematic Sieve-GARD monitors that protect the sieve from degradation. The most important safety warning feature of this oxygen concentrator is the indicator lights for the purity of oxygen. If the purity of the oxygen is below the factory preset, an indicator light will illuminate as a warning. This feature is important because the operator will know if the air quality is safe enough to breathe or not.

The warning alarm works without the need for a battery so users will definitely know that there is a problem with the oxygen concentrator even if it suddenly turned off due to low power. In terms of power, it is rare for the device to turn off due to low power as it consumes less amount of energy. In fact, the Invacare Perfecto2V Stationary Oxygen Concentrator only consumes 280 watts when the 3 liters per minute flow rate is used. But just in case there is a glitch in the system, the battery-less alarm will help you know that something is wrong with the oxygen concentrator.

Easy Clean-Up
The Invacare Perfecto2V Stationary Oxygen Concentrator is designed to reduce routine maintenance. But if there is a need to clean this oxygen machine such that there is a high amount of soot collected on the filter, then this machine has a filter located in the back that can easily be removed as well as change.

When cleaning this oxygen concentrator, it is crucial not to use any cleaning agents inside the inlet and other openings. Harsh chemical agents such as alcohol, chlorine products, and oil-based products can damage the exterior of the oxygen concentrator. Use a mild liquid detergent when cleaning this oxygen concentrator.
