• Auto -Trial phase - For periods of three days or more, adding up to a total of 30 days, the REMstar Pro with AutoIQ will provide breath-by-breath therapy while in Auto-Trial phase, using our existing, proven Auto Algorithm. By learning the patient's breathing patterns and treatment needs during the trial phase, Auto-Trial is smart enough to then identify an ideal CPAP therapy pressure specifically for that patient. The device will automatically deliver the CPAP pressure that the patient was at, or below, 90% of the time. Patients can decide to use all the 30 days up front, or they can opt to save some for a later date, just in case their condition changes. For example, if the patient chooses to use only seven days of the Auto-Trial phase at the start of treatment, he will still have 23 available days remaining should an important change in the patient's condition occur, such as a significant weight loss or gain. Patients can do this until they use the entire 30 days of Auto-Trial functionality on that given REMstar Pro device. And, Auto-Trial days never expire. With AutoIQ, the control, choice, and flexibility is yours.

• Auto - Check phase - Once the ideal CPAP pressure is established, the Auto-Check phase evaluates the patient's events every 30 hours to determine if a pressure change is needed. There may be no need for an adjustment, so the pressure will remain the same. However, if after 30 hours the device determines that the pressure should be adjusted, it will automatically raise or lower the pressure 1 cm at a time, with an upper and lower limit of 3 cm H2O. Of course, the AutoIQ mode conveniently keeps you informed via EncoreAnywhere, while supporting the best possible attention and care for your sleep apnea patients.

• The PR C-Flex Technology was designed with one thing in mind. To make breathing through a CPAP/BIPAP Machine feel as natural as possible. By monitoring each breath, the machine can deliver pressure relief during the three most important points of the breathing cycle. During transition from exhalation to inhalation, inhalation to exhalation, and during the actual exhalation. In this way it can maintain effective therapy at comfortable pressures.
• The System One Resistance Control allows the patient to choose what kind of mask best suits them and still recieve optimal flow. So whether you choose to wear a nasal, full face, or nasal pillow mask, the machine will automatically make the appropriate adjustments to ensure that the patient recieves full therapy.

• Humidity Control (Optional) -The PR CPAP humidifier has special sensors that monitor the changes in temperature in the tube, and adjust it accordingly. This way, all problems of rain-out are eliminated. With the Dry Box technology, chances of water damage are once again greatly reduced.
