Venture Respiratory Inc. Policies

All Sleep & Respiratory Products or Equipment sold online by Venture Respiratory Inc. are new and direct from the manufacturer, in their original packaging. We do not sell used or refurbished equipment. Please note: All services performed by Venture Respiratory are independent of the manufacturer.

Privacy Policy:

Venture Respiratory Inc. respects the privacy of its customers' personal and health related information, and will not- under any circumstances - exchange, sell or otherwise spread the use of any information collected on the website, by telephone or by mail. All information collected will be kept confidential and used only to serve customers or as required by law.

Warranty/Return Policy:

We care about you as a customer and will make every effort to work with you if you need to return or exchange an item. Following are our return and exchange policies stated for your reference and review:

All of the masks and machines we sell are covered by standard manufacturer's warranties. If you purchase an item and find that it is defective within the warranty period we will gladly repair or replace it based on the manufacturer's policies. To arrange a warranty repair or replacement please contact us and we will be glad to assist you with a return authorization number and a new product. Shipping charges may apply on select warranty replacements.

All of the items we sell are guaranteed to be in full working order when you receive them. In addition many of the products we sell (including all masks, interfaces and machines) are covered by standard manufacturer's warranties. If an item you purchase is damaged during shipment, you may return it for replacement with the exact same item. Return arrangements must be made within 30-days of purchase.

If you placed an order by mistake or would like to return an item for any reason, you may do so within 30-days of purchase, as long as the manufacturer's packaging has not been opened. Once your item has been received at our offices, inspected and approved as unopened you will receive credit for the original purchase price, minus a 15% restocking fee. Please Note: Although we take full responsibility on all product descriptions, product images may differ from actual product appearance.

Due to FDA regulations regarding cross contamination and the resale of medical supplies and devices we cannot accept returns on any CPAP or BiPAP equipment where the manufacturer's or supplier's packaging has been opened.

If you receive an incorrect item in any order due to our error, we will replace it without charge and we will refund shipping charges for the return of the incorrect item. To arrange exchange of an incorrect item please contact us.

Prescription:

If you are purchasing a CPAP or BiLevel (BiPAP) machine, federal law requires that we receive a copy of a prescription written by your doctor. Any item requiring a prescription will be noted in the items page. No Exceptions can be made to this policy. If you have questions or need any help with this matter please contact us. Please note: ResMed masks also require a prescription, since the FDA classifies masks as Class II devices.

Sales tax:

Sales tax is collected on all taxable merchandise shipped within New York State. If the customer or facility receiving the merchandise is registered in the state of New York and is legally exempt from sales tax, include a copy of your exemption or resale certificate with your payment. Your sales tax will then be credited and/or exempt for all current or future orders.

Shipment & Delivery:

Most items are in stock and ready for immediate shipment and delivery. In the event that an item is out of stock, on backorder, needs to be special ordered or there is a delay in the processing of your order you will be notified via e-mail within 1 business day with an estimated time of delivery.

It is the customer's responsibility to respond to any e-mails originating from our Customer Care and/or Sales Departments. Delayed responses may cause a delay in shipment of your item(s) in question. Please note: ResMed products are for sale in the US only.

Payments:

Venture Respiratory accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card. At the present time we do not bill Medicare or private insurance providers - though we are planning to offer this service in the near future.

Upon request, Venture Respiratory can send you - via e-mail or postal service - an additional sales receipt of your order that can be submitted to Medicare or your private insurance provider. Submission of a claim to an insurance company is not a guarantee of payment; Venture Respiratory offers this service only as a courtesy to our customers.
